PM Modi will inaugurate Global Mobility Summit, more than 200 global CEOs to attend

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate MOVE, India’s ever first Global Mobility Summit organized by NITI Aayog at Vigyan Bhawan in the capital on 7th and 8th September. The focus of the summit is on raising awareness about various aspects of Mobility and bringing various stakeholders involved in enhancing mobility across different platforms. Representative from various Intergovernmental Organizations, Academia, Policy Think tanks from India and abroad, Global leaders from across the mobility sector such as OEMs, Battery Manufacturers, Charging Infrastructure Providers, technology Solution Providers will be sharing their views on enhancing mobility over the next two days during the summit. Deputy Commissioners Rajiv Kumar and Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Kant on Thursday informed the reporters in the presence of senior officials of the Road Transport, Energy and Electronics and Information Technology Ministries that this is the first summit of its kind in which the whole 2,200 participants from the world are expected to be involved.

These include celebrities of government, industry, research organisations, academic world, think tank and civil society. He said that the inaugural session will also address 11 global CEOs. After this, 12 CEOs will keep their views in a patching discussion. He said that more than 30 global CEOs, 100 states officers, 100 foreign representatives and CEOs of 200 Indian companies will participate in the conference.
Along with this, Embassy and High Commission officials situated in India will also attend the event as well as private company’s representatives from America, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, New Zealand, Austria, Germany, Brazil and many other countries will participate in this event.
