Hindus will progress only if unite: Mohan Bhagwat at Vishwa Hindu Sammelan in Chicago

Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday called on the Hindu community to work together for human welfare. Addressing around 2,500 people at the Vishwa Hindu Sammelan at Chicago, Bhagwat said that there are a highest number of talented people in the Hindu society.

In his address inspired by Hindu principles, Bhagwat said, "Hindus never come together. It is difficult for Hindus to come together. He said that Hindus are being mistreated for thousands of years because they forget to follow their basic principles and spirituality. Bhagwat said that Hindus have to come together.



Bhagwat also said that our value has become a public value now a day and this is called Hindu value only. We are like a spiritual guru in all the circumstances. He said that money is not everything. We have knowledge and wisdom, but we should not forget our sacraments. We often forget to work for and with each other.

This program is organised from September 7 to 9 on completion of 125 years of Swami Vivekananda's speech in Chicago. On September 11, 1893, Swami Vivekananda delivered a historic speech in the Vishwa Dharm Sansad held in Chicago.

In this program, the former Deputy Chairman of the Niti Aayog, Arvind Pangriya, was present. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, actor Anupam Kher, RSS chief secretary Dattatreya Hosbale, former director of Infosys TV Mohandas Pai, Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama will also participate in this event.
