Soldier commits suicide in J&K

Jammu Sep 8 (IANS) A soldier deployed in Jammu and Kashmir s Samba district committed suicide the army said on Saturday.
Naik Jasveer Singh (34) hailing from Sirhind (Punjab) and deployed at Samba was reported killed from a gunshot wound to the head on Friday in the Samba Military Station.
"The untoward incident is a case of suspected suicide and is being investigated " a defence spokesperson said.
