Lightning kills two in Bengal
Kolkata Sep 11 (IANS) Two persons were on Tuesday killed in a lightning strike in West Bengal s West Midnapore district police said.
"Two persons were killed in lightning strike while working in an open field in West Midnapore district s Chandrakona on Tuesday afternoon. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained " an officer from state police control said.
Heavy rain lashed parts Kolkata and other south Bengal districts on Tuesday afternoon leaving many roads waterlogged.
