Police official arrested while taking bribe

Ranchi Sep 26 (IANS) A police officer was arrested here on Wednesday while taking a bribe of Rs 7 000 from a man.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau identified the arrested officer as Arun Kumar Singh who headed the Sukdeonagar police station in Ranchi.
He had reportedly sought a bribe of Rs 50 000 from Raj Anant Kumar but eventually settled for Rs 7 000.
