We are constructing India s biggest war memorial: Jharkhand CM
Ranchi Sep 29 (IANS) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday said their government is constructing India s biggest war memorial.
"We should forget our differences and stand together when any problem comes to our country. We should work to embolden the morale of our jawans " he said while participating in a Parakram Diwas programme here.
"Stories of the slain soldiers bravery will be written in the war memorial which will have a replica of the Kargil War so that the youth can understand their duties towards the nation " Das said.
"Our government has hiked compensation amount to the kin of the soldiers who died while serving the country from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. We are also providing jobs and land to the kin of the slain soldiers " he added.
