Aircel-Maxis case: Big Relief to Karti and P. Chidambaram

In the Aircel-Maxis case, former Union Minister P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram gets big relief. The Delhi court has extended interim stay on arrest by Chidambaram's CBI and ED. The next hearing on this matter will be on November 1while Both CBI and ED are demanding arrest.
Enforcement Directorate had filed a case against Karti Chidambaram in May 2017. Both are accused of helping the INX Media to get more foreign investment than the limit. It was a matter of foreign investment of 305 crores and when this investment was approved, then P. Chidambaram was the Union Finance Minister. Karti Chidambaram is accused of taking bribe to deal in this deal.
In this case, the Enforcement Directorate has also raided the premises of Karti Chidambaram and P. Chidambaram. After which the CBI had arrested him. The CBI and ED have questioned them many times but they say every time they did not commit a crime.
