Sabarimala Temple Case: review petition filed in SC to ban entry of women

A review petition has been filed against the decision to allow women of all ages to enter the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala, Kerala. The National Ayappa Devoti (Women's) Association filed a reconsideration petition and urged the Supreme Court to review its recent decision. What is the matter?
Supreme Court had lifted the ban on the entry of women in Ayyappa Swamy Temple, located in Sabarimala, Kerala, saying that now women of all ages can go to the temple for Darshan. The five-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Deepak Mishra, had said in the verdict with a majority of 4-1, that it was a gender discrimination to stop women of the menstrual age from entering the temple and it violates the rights of Hindu women. Justice RF Nariman and Justice D.V Chandrachud agreed with the decision of the CJI Deepak Mishra and Justice AM Khanvilkar in his decisions, but Justice Indu Malhotra read his decision separately from the majority.
Every year from November to January in the Sabarimala temple, devotees visit Ayappa for Lord's visit, the rest of the year is closed for common devotees. Makar Sankranti's day is very special for the devotees of Lord Ayyappa that is why most devotees reach that day on that day. This temple is located on the hills 175 kilometers from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram. This temple is surrounded by hills from all sides.
