Former US President George H.W. Bush has died at age 94

(WTN) George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the US and father of the 43rd, who steered the nation through a tumultuous period in world affairs, has died at the age of 94 in Houston.
His son and former US president George W. Bush expressed his grief on social media, on passing of his father: "Our dear Dad has died. George H. W. Bush was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for."

George Herbert Walker Bush was born June 12, 1924 in Milton, Mass. He was 41st American president. He is survived by five children, including former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. A sixth child died in early childhood. The late former president also is survived by 14 grandchildren.
