UK court orders Vijay Mallya extradition

WTN:- As a big diplomatic victory of India, UK court today clears the way to put back Vijay Mallya to India. The Westminster court today orders that fugitive liquor businessman Vijay Mallya will be extradited to India from Britain. Earlier Mallya reached court before the verdict said that I had proposed to return the money, it was not false. I have nothing to do with the extradition of this offer. The liquor trader also said in the interaction with the media- Let me first clarify that I did not steal money. I invested Rs 4 thousand cr in Kingfisher Airlines to save it.
Mallya has over 9,000 cr of outstanding Indian banks. He ran to London in March 2016. India had appealed for extradition from the UK in February last year. Mallya was arrested in Scotland Yard in April 2017 on charges of fraud and money laundering in India, but got bail. The case of extradition is proceeding in the London court from December 4, 2017. - Window To News
