President on two-day visit to Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Dec 28 (IANS) president Ram Nath Kovind will be in Gujarat on Saturday and Sunday, visiting the White Runn of Kutch and Gir, the only abode in the world for Asiatic Lion.
The president is visiting the Kutch for the first time. He will land in the desert district of Gujarat on Saturday morning by a chopper at the Dhordo Helipad. From there he will visit the Tent City.
He will see the sunset and watch a cultural programme in the evening. His night stay will be at the Tent City. After witnessing the sunrise of White Runn, he will leave for Gir.
The President on Sunday will visit Gir, the only abode of Asiatic Lions in the world. In the evening he will return to Delhi.
