S.R. Mohanty appointed Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary

Bhopal, Dec 31 (IANS) S.R. Mohanty, an IAS officer of the 1982 batch, has been appointed the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, an official said on Monday.A directive issued by Principal Secretary of Personnel Administration Rashmi Arun said Mohanty will replace the outgoing Chief Secretary B.S. Singh, who retired on Monday.
Mohanty, currently the president of state Secondary Education Board, will take charge on Tuesday (January 1).
