TN Minister Pandiarajan joins Panneerselvam camp (Lead)

Chennai:In another jolt to AIADMK General Secretary V.K. Sasikala, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K. Pandiarajan on Saturday switched his loyalties to acting Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam's camp - the first state minister to do so.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam's faction of the AIADMK received a boost with the Education Minister K Pandiarajan joining him today.
The Minister is the first of the Cabinet to shift loyalties from the ruling party's General Secretary VK Sasikala who is making a bid for the post of chief minister.
Addressing party cadres thronging the Chief Minister's residence, Pandiarajan said most of the MLAS and Ministers with Sasikala are keen on joining Panneerselvam and strengthen the unity of AIADMK, he said.
Panneerselvam welcomed Pandiarajan as a valuable ally who represents the sentiments of the youth.
"I have come here to extend support to 'Annan' OPS because I want the party to be united. Every party MLA is of the same opinion,'' said Pandiarajan. IANS
