Ex-PDP MP Tariq Karra joins Congress

New Delhi:Five months after he quit the People's Democratic Party (PDP), MP Tariq Hameed Karra on Saturday joined the Congress party here. He attacked the central government for "mishandling" the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Former MP Tariq Hameed Karra one of the founding members of PDP joined Congress on Saturday.
He met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. And was later formally inducted into the party by general secretaries Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ambika Soni.
Tariq Hameed Karra had quit PDP in September last year.IANS
