Diary row: Congress hit by tsunami, says BJP, Congress says frame-up

New Delhi Feb 23 (IANS) The BJP on Thursday said that Congress has been hit by a tsunami in the wake of revelations on illicit cash for favours in a diary allegedly containing names of senior party leaders but the Congress rubbished the allegations and termed the diary forged and fabricated.

An investiagtion done by Times Now news channel claimed the alleged diary belong to Karnataka legislative councillor K. Govindaraj. The diary entires are alleged to have initials of AICC AP RG Office SG Office and M Vora.

Those who were talking about earthquake has been hit by tsunami themselves. The initials are very clear and easy to decode. There is no need to speculate on initials any intelligent person knows what R G office and S G office stand for said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.

However Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala called the diary fake and fabricated.

We released a video of Union Minister Ananth Kumar and former Karnataka Chief Minister (B.S.) Yeddyurappa a few days ago where they clearly admitted that they were paying bribes to the BJP high command.

In that same conversation they both spoke about an alleged diary that they have forged and fabricated which they said will release in days to come. Then with that diary they will continue to accuse the Congress party he said.

Surjewala further said: So its the same kind of fake and forged frame-up that the Modi government is doing.
