PDP minister s carcade attacked in Kashmir
Srinagar Feb 27 (IANS) A policeman was injured when youths attacked a People s Democratic Party (PDP) minister s carcade in south Kashmir s Pulwama district on Monday.
According to police angry youths pelted stones at the carcade of Zahoor Ahmad Mir junior minister for Forests and Environment in Ratnipora village.
Mir s security guards fired in the air and tear smoke shells were used by security personnel to control the mob.
A local policeman has been injured in the incident. The minister escaped unhurt a police official said.
