Akhilesh extends Holi greetings
Lucknow March 11 (IANS) Outgoing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday greeted the people ahead of the festival of Holi.
In a message issued here the Chief Minister said that the the festival of colours imparted the message of our rich culture traditions diversity and a symbol of our multi-cultural diversity.
The festival gave a message of mutual love brotherhood and harmony he said urging the people of the state to celebrate Holi with harmony and in a dignified manner.
Earlier in the day he submitted his resignation to Governor Ram Naik after a severe defeat of the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in the state assembly elections.
