Railway Crossings on National Highways

About 1831 railway level crossing have been identified on National Highways in the country. Out of which, 1137 Railway Over Bridge (ROBs) and Railway Under Bridge including 104 in Maharashtra have already been constructed. Out of the remaining 694 ROB and RUBs including 25 in Maharashtra, 208 are under Setu Bharatam project and 486 under corridor development.
 
This information was given by the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today. -WTN
