New IGP for Chhattisgarh s Bastar

Raipur April 1 (IANS) IPS officer Vivekanand Sinha was on Saturday transferred to Chhattisgarh s Maoist-affected Bastar region as its Inspector General of Police (IGP) an official statement said.
Sinha currently the IGP of Bilaspur is succeeded in that post by P.S. Gautam who was currently IG (Administration) at the police headquarters while Sundarraj P. has been divested on the additional charge of IGP Bastar according to an order issued by Chattisgarh government s Home Department. --IANS hindi-vd
