Fourteen cell phones seized from Baramulla sub-jail
Srinagar April 2 (IANS) Fourteen cell phones used illegally by inmates of the Baramulla sub-jail in north Kashmir were seized on Sunday the state police said.
A joint search was carried out by Baramulla police and prison authorities in the sub-jail following information that some unauthorised things including cell phones were in use inside the jail a police officer said.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway as to how these cell phones and other illegal things were brought inside the jail.
