Minister of Railways Flagged off / Inaugurated Various Train Services

Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu flagged off/inaugurated the following new trains through Video Conferencing from here today i.e. 3rd April, 2017.

1.      Train No 22992/22991 Veraval - Bandra Terminus Super Fast Express

2.      Train No 22994/22993 Mahuva - Bandra Terminus Super Fast Express

3.      Train No 19030/19029 Mahuva - Bandra Terminus Super Fast Express

Chairman, Railway Board, Shri A. K. Mital, Member Traffic Shri Mohd Jamshed, Member Engineering Shri Aditya Kumar Mittal,  Member Rolling Stock Railway Board Shri Ravindra Gupta and other Railway Board Members and senior officials were also present on the occasion. 

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu said that There were demands of people of Saurashtra for these trains, Pilgrims of Somnath shall be benefitted by Veraval Bandra Terminus trains. Especially Groundnut and cotton farmers of Saurashtra region shall also be benefitted.

Indian Railways, introduced 1 pair Mail Express between Veraval to Bandra (T) and 02 pairs of  Mahuva to Bandra (T).  These trains will provide an additional connectivity between Veraval to Bandra (T) and Mahuva to Bandra (T).  -WTN
