Ramesh Chandra Agarwal, Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar group passes away due to cardiac arrest in Ahmedabad. He suffered the cardiac arrest at Ahmedabad airport. He was taken to Apollo Hospital , but could not survive. The family members rushed to Ahmedabad after the news reached them.

He was been on the Board of D.B. Corp Limited. He held a PG Degree (MA) in Political Science . He had over 40 years of experience in the publishing and newspaper business and was engaged in the running of the organization for over four decades.
He was also the Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry - Madhya Pradesh. He had been awarded the Rajeev Gandhi Life Time Achievement Award in Journalism.
He has three sons actively involved in his business- Girish Agarwal (Non Executive Director DB Corp Ltd), Sudhir Agarwal (MD DB Corp Ltd), Pawan Agarwal (Dy MD DB Corp Ltd).
