Sonia greets people, hails farmers contribution for rich harvest
New Delhi April 13 (IANS) Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday greeted the nation on the occasion of Baisakhi Vishu Rongali Bihu Viashkhadi Puthandu Pirappu Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Naba Barsha and said that contribution of the farmers must be recognised for a rich harvest.
These harvest festivals celebrated in different parts of country convey the message of unity and portray the rich cultural heritage of our country the Congress President said in a statement.
Extending her good wishes for a rich harvest she said: We must recognise the contribution the immeasurable hard work and dedication of our farmers to the progress of the nation.
