Modi congratulates BJP workers for by-poll wins

New Delhi April 13 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers over the party s victories in various by-polls across the country.

He attributed the good performance of the party and its allies to the politcs of development and good governance.

The BJP won five of the 10 seats across eight states that witnessed by-polls.

I thank the people for the constant support blessings and unwavering faith in politics of development and good governance he added.

The BJP also won the assembly by-poll at Rajouri Garden seat in Delhi with a huge margin while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate forfeited his security. The BJP now has four MLAs in the Delhi assembly.
