Modi extended his greetings to all Odia people on Maha Vishuba Sankranti.

Odisha Kerala West Bengal and Assam will celebrate their New Year on April 14 and 15. Known as Pana or Vishuba Sankranti Vishu Poila Baishakh and Bihu in the respective states the day will be celebrated by the communities with prayers and events.
