Senior IAS officers reshuffled in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, May 26 (IANS) The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday posted IAS officer Vikram Kapur as the new Planning and Development Secretary, replacing Jayashree Raghunandan, who will now be the Secretary/Director General, Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (Training).A Government order issued by Chief Secretary, Irai Anbu said that Pankaj Kumar Bansal, who was the Commissioner of Land Acquisition (CLA), would be posted as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. Vidhu Nayar is the new CLA.Hansraj Varma has been posted as the CMD of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd, Atulya Misra as CMD of the Tamil Nadu Power Finance Corporation, and Mangat Ram Sharma as the Project Director of Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation and Water Bodies Restoration Management (IAMWARM). Beela Rajesh is the new Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles.S. Swarna would be posted as Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Financial Services Ltd, and Sigy Thomas Vaidyan is posted as the Industries Commissioner/Director of Industries and Commerce.
