Tamil Nadu CM condoles death of Ramco Group Chairman
Chennai May 11 (IANS) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami on Thursday condoled the death of Ramco Group Chairman P.R. Ramasubrahmaneya Rajha.
In a statement issued here Palaniswami said Rajha started different industries in Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district and created employment opportunities for the people of the region.
The death of Rajha is a great loss to the industrial world he said.
The 82-year-old passed away on Thursday.
The Ramco Group has a major presence across cotton and synthetic yarn cement building products software solutions bio-technology and others.
In a tweet Minister of State for Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan said he was deeply pained at the loss of Rajha.
