Narrow escape for passengers as AI plane s tyres burst at Jammu
Jammu June 9 (IANS) Passengers of an Air India flight had a providential escape on Friday when the tyres of the aircraft burst on landing at the Jammu airport here police sources said.
The number of passengers on the Delhi-Srinagar flight could not be known immediately.
All the passengers are safe. The plane was scheduled to travel to Srinagar after picking/dropping passengers from Jammu an official said.
Sources said the runway suffered some damage due to the accident.
