Computer operator commits suicide

New Delhi June 26 (IANS) A 26-year-old computer operator with the SDM office in south Delhi has allegedly committed suicide police said on Monday.

Rahul Prasad was found hanging from a ceiling fan by a watchman at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office police said.

Prasad had been missing since Saturday. On Monday his family came to the office to enquire about him which is when he was found hanging police added.

Prasad worked as a computer operator and was posted at the SDM office two months ago. A suicide note was recovered from his possession in which he held himself responsible for his death. He also wrote that he could not do better in his life a senior police officer said.

Prasad was last seen on Saturday in the office he said. We have sent his body for post-mortem the officer added.

Prasad lived with his family in Chattarpur.
