Yogi discusses Ardh Kumbh plans with Akhara Parishad head

Lucknow July 7 (IANS) All-India Akhara Parishad head Mahant Narendra Giri called on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence on Friday a government spokesman said.The meeting was with regards to the preparations for the Prayag Ardh Kumbh-2019."The Chief Minister and Mahant Giri held wide ranging and detailed deliberations on the successful organising of the mega religious event " the spokesman said.During the meeting Yogi Adityanath expressed his desire to meet all the office-bearers of the Akhada Parishad at the earliest.He also assured the head of the Akhada Parishad that the state government was seriously committed to ensuring all facilities and fool-proof security for domestic and foreign visitors to the Ardh Kumbh in 2019 so that there is no inconvenience to them."All the arrangements would be in place in time " Yogi added.--IANSmd/vgu/vt
