Murder mystery solved in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad July 12 (IANS) Two brothers who allegedly ordered the murder of a man who was said to have illicit relations with their sister have been arrested police said on Wednesday.

Superintendent of Police Akash Kumar said the victim s body was found on July 7 in a drain in Harsh Vihar. Nobody then knew who he was -- and why he was murdered.

Police investigations revealed the man regularly visited a woman who had separated from her husband in 2007.

On July 7 the victim was drunk when he reached the woman s house. When her brothers Jai Kumar and Neeraj confronted him he said he wanted to meet their sister Meenu who said she did not know him.

The brothers then summoned a thug and together beat the man to death. When he died his body was thrown into a drain.

"Jai Kumar and Neeraj have been arrested and a hunt is on for the muscleman " Tomar said.
