Harassed by goon, Andhra girl commits suicide
Vijayawada July 13 (IANS) A 14-year-old girl committed suicide on Thursday unable to deal with the sexual harassment by a goon in Andhra Pradesh police said.
The incident occurred in Sanath Nagar near here.
K. Soumya who was studying in Class 9 at a government-run school hanged herself when she was alone at home.
A goon identified as Nani was harassing the girl for some days said locals.
Soumya s father is an electrician while her mother is a construction worker. The girl used to go to the school with her younger sister Bojji.
