314 kg ganja seized in Bengal, 2 arrested
Kolkata July 18 (IANS) The Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday seized 314 kg of ganja (marijuana) from a pick-up truck here and arrested two persons in connection with the case an NCB official said.
"A total of 314 kg of ganja worth approximately Rs 35 lakh was seized from a pick-up truck from South Kolkata s Taratala Road on Tuesday morning " the NCB official said.
"Two persons named Hariprasad Majumdar and Milan Ghosh have been arrested from the truck for illegally transporting the narcotic substance " he added.
