AAP candidate Ramchandra files nomination for Bawana bypoll

New Delhi Aug 2 (IANS) AAP candidate Ramchandra on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for the bypoll to Bawana assembly seat in west Delhi.
Accompanied by Aam Aadmi Party s Delhi convenor Gopal Rai and other leader of the party including Sanjay Singh Saurabh Bharadwaj Ajesh Yadav and Guggan Singh Ranga -- a former BJP MLA who joined AAP on July 30 -- Ramchandra filed his nomination at the DC office in Alipur.
As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission the last date for filing nomination papers is August 5 and polling will take place on August 23. Counting will be held on August 28.
