Six killed in Rajasthan road accident

Jaipur Aug 4 (IANS) Six women were killed and seven other persons injured when a jeep hit a truck near Rajasthan s Chittorgarh district on Friday police said.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. The speeding jeep carrying women passengers on a pilgrimage hit a parked truck from behind. The driver was also injured.
Five women lost their lives on the spot. One was declared dead later while being treated a senior police officer from Chittorgarh told IANS on phone.
All the seven injured including the driver have been referred to a government hospital in Udaipur the officer said.
