Voting to elect next Vice President begins (Lead)
New Delhi Aug 5 (IANS) MPs queued up outside Parliament House to elect the country s next Vice President with Prime Minister Narendra Modi being the first to cast his vote.
The voting started at 10 a.m. and will continue till 5 p.m.
The counting of votes will be done in the evening. The results would be announced later on Saturday.
NDA s candidate M. Venkaiah Naidu is contesting against Opposition s nominee Gopalkrishna Gandhi.
