Militant hideout busted in Rajouri

Jammu Aug 5 (IANS) A militant hideout was busted on Saturday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir by security forces and a cache of arms and ammunition seized official sources said.
"Acting on a tip-off a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and state police launched a search in Kalakote tehsil and busted the hideout " Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta told IANS here.
The cache seized from the forested area near Sadah village included one AK-47 assault rifle one AK-56 rifle one Chinese pistol two rocket-propelled grenades five hand grenades two magazines and 639 rounds.
It is the second seizure of arms and ammunition by the Army in two days he said.
