Kashmir bank guard foils weapon snatching bid

Srinagar Aug 7 (IANS) An alert bank guard on Monday foiled an attempt by three persons to snatch his weapon in Jammu and Kashmir s Badgam district police said.
The incident took place in Charar-e-Sharief town and was captured on CCTV cameras police said.
"The alert guard has foiled the weapon snatching attempt by three persons whose CCTV footage is available with us " a police officer said adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits and anybody helping in their arrest would be suitably rewarded.
