Modi, Shah to meet BJP-ruled states CMs

New Delhi Aug 21 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah will on Monday meet Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states to discuss the implementation of the central government s welfare schemes.

This would be the first such meeting after the Bharatiya Janata Party s alliance with the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) in Bihar.

According to party sources Modi and Shah will address the meet and 13 Chief Ministers and six Deputy Chief Ministers will be in attendance.

Shah earlier this week held a meeting with union ministers and party officials for the BJP s "Mission 350-plus" for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

This issue would also be discussed in the meeting sources said.
