VD Man kills friend over suspected affair

New Delhi Aug 22 (IANS) A man has been arrested for killing a friend who suspected him of having an affair with his wife police said on Tuesday.

The accused Uddyan a builder from Lahori Gate area was taken into custody from a hideout in G.B Road.

The incident occurred on Monday night when the victim Yahiya 30 came with his wife and sister-in-law to talk to Uddyan police said. Yahiya was a garments businessman.

"Yahiya and Uddyan were friends for years. They had an altercation a couple of weeks ago after Yahiya suspected that Uddyan was having an affair with his wife " a police officer said.

At their meeting both men again got into a verbal duel during which Yahiya pointed a pistol at Uddyan who snatched it and shot dead Yahiya.
