Amit Shah has darshan of Lalbaug-cha Raja
Mumbai Aug 27 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Sunday had a darshan of the famed Lalbaug-cha Raja Ganapati idol in central Mumbai s Parel-Lalbaug area.
He was accompanied by Maharashtra BJP President Raosaheb Patil-Danve Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar and several state cabinet ministers.
Arriving at the Lalbaug-cha Raja marquee Shah prayed before the 18 feet tall iconic idol of the elephant-headed god Lord Ganesha.
He also visited another Ganeshotsav celebration organised by Shelar at a public marquee in Bandra where a replica of the Shri Saibaba Temple of Shirdi had been created.
