Girl stabbed to death in Jharkhand

Ranchi Aug 30 (IANS) A girl who had been a victim of harassment was stabbed to death in Jharkhand by a long-time tormentor soon after he got bail on Wednesday police said.
According to police Sulekh reached 17-year-old Rishu s house after getting bail from jail locked her parents in a room and stabbed her to death in Matkuria area in Dhanbad district.
He injured her brother when he tried to save his sister. Sulekh has been arrested.
Informed sources said Sulekh used to pass comments on Rishu and even tried to physically touch her. The girl s family had lodged an FIR against Sulekh and he was sent to jail.
According to the girl s mother Sulekh wanted to rape her daughter. When he failed he killed the girl.
