Arjan Singh father of IAF s modernisation: Parrikar
Panaji Sep 17 (IANS) Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday condoled the death of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh calling him the father of IAF s modernisation efforts.
"Saddened by the demise of 1965 war hero and Marshal of Air Force Arjan Singh. He was the father of our Air Force s modernisation efforts " said Parrikar a former Defence Minister in a tweet.
"His dedication to our nation and his exemplary leadership capabilities will continue to inspire our armed forces."
Arjan Singh died of a heart attack on Saturday evening. He was 98
