Police kill criminal in Greater Noida (Lead)

Noida Sep 20 (IANS) Police on Wednesday shot dead one of the three criminals in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh when they were trying to escape after stealing a car and Rs 1.5 lakh in cash an officer said.
The incident occurred in Sector 58 in neighbouring Noida. As they were chased by a police team a gun battle erupted near Bisrakh in Greater Noida a police spokesman told IANS.
One of the criminals was fatally shot. Two others escaped. The stolen car and money have been recovered the spokesman added.
