Woman injured as India, Pakistan trade fire on LoC (Lead)

Jammu Sep 27 (IANS) A woman was injured on Wednesday when the Indian and Pakistan armies traded heavy fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir s Poonch district.
Police sources said the Pakistan Army used mortars small weapons and automatics to target Indian positions in Shahpur and Balakote areas. The shelling left a 50-year-old woman injured.
"Indian troops are effectively and strongly retaliating. Till last reports came in firing exchanges were going on between the two sides " police sources said.
