India, Afghanistan review bilateral ties
New Delhi Sep 28 (IANS) India and Afghanistan reviewed their bilateral relationship during a meeting between External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Afghan Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah here on Thursday.
"Strengthening strategic partnership with a close neighbour " External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
India is an important aid donor to war-ravaged Afghanistan.
"India has been partnering with the government and the people of Afghanistan in their efforts to build a stable peaceful prosperous united and pluralistic country " the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement ahead of Abdullah s visit.
