Patna juvenile board finds minor guilty in Patna, Bodhgaya blasts: NIA

New Delhi Oct 11 (IANS) The NIA on Wednesday said the Juvenile Justice Board in Patna has found a juvenile guilty of conspiracy in the Patna and Bodhgaya serial bomb blasts in Bihar and remanded him to a special home for three years in each case.



On October 27 2013 a series of bomb blasts occurred at the Hunkar Rally venue at Patna s Gandhi Maidan which was addressed by Bharatiya Janata Party s then prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Six persons were killed and over 89 injured in the serial blasts.

On July 7 2013 the Mahabodhi temple in Bodhgaya was rocked by at least 10 bomb blasts soon after the morning prayers. A total of 13 bombs were planted out of which 10 exploded. Three bombs were seized and defused.

Both terror cases were transferred to the National Investigation Agency for a probe.

The NIA arrested 11 accused in the Patna case and six in the Bodhgaya case.
