Srinagar Oct 16 (IANS) A former sarpanch (village headman) was shot dead by militants in Jammu and Kashmir s Shopian district on Monday evening police said
Militants fired at Muhammad Ramban Sheikh in Imam Sahib area of Shopian a police officer said adding he was removed to hospital in a critical condition where doctors declared him dead.
