Five protesters injured in J&K firing

Srinagar Oct 18 (IANS) Five civilians were injured while they were protesting on Wednesday in a security forces firing in Jammu and Kashmir s Anantnag district.
People in Wullerhama village were chasing an alleged braid chopper from trying to flee "in an army vehicle " an eyewitness said.
"The protesters resorted to heavy stone pelting at the army vehicle. Soldiers on board then fired at the crowd injuring five civilians " a police officer said.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital.
