Two youths from Assam beaten up in Delhi

New Delhi Oct 24 (IANS) Two youths from Assam were beaten up by two locals in south Delhi for urinating near a shop police said on Tuesday.
Simon and Jason hailing from Kachar district called the police after they were thrashed by shopkeeper Rohit and an unidentified person around 11.30 p.m. on Monday for urinating near a grocery shop in Mahipalpur area Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh said.
Simon and Jason later reportedly told police that they did not want legal action against the accused and refused to undergo medical examination since they did not suffer major injuries.
